Desalination
The GrahamTek Super-Flux RO incorporate patented technologies that significantly refine conventional RO desalination technologies. Technological innovations offer the only systems available in the world today that inhibit fouling and scaling during operation, eliminating the need for chemicals and achieving higher fluxes than conventional, higher energy reliant RO membrane systems.
1000³m/d 16" Super-Flux Seawater RO on assembly line at GrahamTek South Africa These chemical-free, energy efficient innovations improve membrane performance with greater flux rates, lower overall energy consumption and provide longer plant life with significantly reduced plant foot prints than conventional Reverse Osmosis systems. The GrahamTek™ Super-Flux innovations overcome the fouling and low flux limitations of conventional RO systems through a combination of patented technologies which include:
Integrated Flow Distribution Electro Magnetic Device
The GrahamTek Super-Flux RO skid-mounted seawater desalination plants are significantly smaller than conventional plants of similar capacities due to the unique 16" spiral wound membrane capabilities and the patented design feature of only four membrane elements per pressure vessel as opposed to the conventional 6 or 7 element per pressure vessel requirement. The operational performance of the GrahamTek™ RO desalination systems may be further optimized utilizing a chemical free GrahamTek MF Memspin fine filtration process as a pre-treatment to the reverse osmosis process. The turnkey automation and skid-mounted pre-assembly provides for simple flange-to-flange plant installations of varying capacities.
